In early 2017 I was given the opportunity to design a wedding suite for a styled shoot. A year later, I received an e-mail notifying me that the photos for that shoot were published! 

What is a styled shoot you may ask? A styled shoot is a planned event with a very specific theme and design in mind. A planner/photographer will present their ideas to vendors via a mood board. Vendors may include florists, bakers, planners, venue, stationery designers, rental shops, gown designers, MUH (makeup artist and hair), photographers, models, etc... These vendors all work together to create the perfect scene in the end result of beautiful photos. The photos from the shoot may get submitted to publication.

You might be wondering what the point of a staged wedding is. These styled shoots help vendors to network with each other, build their portfolio while having the chance to try something new.
